For those who don't know who he is, Thrawn is a character from the Star Wars Expanded Universe and 5 years after the Battle of Endor (i.e. 5 years in-universe time after the events of RotJ) he managed to rally the crumbling Empire and almost lead them to victory over the New Republic (the Rebels in the films). He has the distinction of being both the highest ranking non-human in the Empire, and the only non-human Grand Admiral (a rank that was almost directly below the Emperor in status [i.e. only Vader and a couple of others outranked them]).

Metaphorical cookie for anyone who can guess which actor is 'playing' Thrawn for my pic Wink

You painted this? That is impressive work. I have read the Timothy Zahn books and always loved the Admiral, I found it unfit for him to die the way he did No
However, I have no idea who this actor might be...
wait... Tumbleweed ... is it Spok (guy from Star Trek)?
Don't know the actors name but anyhow, great painting if it's yours Very Happy
Cheers,
Radagastbird

Thanks - yes I painted it (well sort of - I used a computer programe and a tablet to paint it digitally, but that still counts as painting if you ask me Razz ).

And yes, it is based on Lenard Nemoy (actor who played spock), and in fact, I used a pic of Spock in dress uniform as a ref for this Smile ) - please feel free to take your metaphorical cookie *offers plate of cookies*
