 New SBG Rules

Ok i jsut got the new WD though my door and it was well worth the wait for them. I will touch on what everyone brings but leaving out jsut enought detail so that GW doesn't sue me and take away my house. Smirk

The ruels we got are fantastic and i am so glad that i picked up the Eaterlign command and the Knight of Umbar last night.
Disscus the ruels.

Mod Edit: Rules removed to be on the safe side. Although you didn't give stats, the rules sounded a bit too specific to me. - Dinadan


2nd Mod Edit: Well, this post would lack cause without some news on the new rules. so here I go... - Corsair

Haradrim Taskmaster - Well, you have heard of Orc taskmasters, now its the Men of the south's turn....

The Golden King & The Abrakan Guard - Strong Fighting troops, powerful when striking, Golden King can influence an enemy hero's courage test.

Dragon Knight - A fighter, not a leader, nice combat related special rules. Could prove a nice addition to any SBG force.

War Priest - Influence a friendly hero in a fight, quite a useful tool.


Black Guard Uruks - Your Uruk Hai with heavy armour and shields. I can't understand why they cost 2pts more a piece than an equivalently equiped Isengard Uruk...pfff.

Kardush - Fire spells, sacrafices orcs for his own use.

Betrayer - has poison effects.

Knight of Umbar - Less prone to losing will for fighting. Stealing characteristics ability.

i looked through it in the shop, i didn't buy it because the rules will appear in the gw archive next month, like they did with those galadhrim stats a few months after the WD.

now i can't find thoes stats anywhere on there site. Does anyone have a link because i have seemed to "Misplace" my WD with the first lot of rules.

Nope, as i said. Look for the rules to appear in the WD archive on the GW site in November/December.

yeah sure, but you need to be a registered member.

The galadhrim aren't on that one. I don't think they have been released yet. I thought they were but that was me confused. sorry.

I'm bet my entire lifes earning for SotDL that the Abrakhan Guard all have a Fight Value of 4 and somehow these vast bellied lads are better at fighting than their thinner comrades.

I miss the days before stats creep...Sad

That's a bet I'm not gonna take Fen considering the 'recent' trend in stats Rolling Eyes

I too miss the days when F3 was the norm and GW started making their own stuff up. Sad
