| Some new models for Rohan and Isengard (and Mordor) are now up for advance order: Eomer, Marshal of the Riddermark: Grimbold: Grimbold's Helmingas Command: Saruman on Horseback: Thrydan Wolfsbane: And the plastic Winged Nazgul we've been speculating about: All can be found HEREDiscuss! |

| I quite like the look of Eomer, although he doesn't quite look like the film's version, but he'd make an excellent King of Rohan for a Rohan army from a period other than WotR.
Grimbold and his men look quite nice, although the standard bearer looks a little bit hunchbacked, but for the standard warriors I'd like to see a mix of scale armour and leather rather than all scale armoured.
Don't like Saruman - his right arm looks twisted and I'm not too keen on his face :/
Thrydan actually looks quite nice for a purely GW invention, although his axe head looks a bit undersized (odd considering GW's like for oversized weapons).
Now that we can see the whole thing, the plastic fell beast doesn't look all that bad if you ask me, although I'm not too sure about the wraith on top :/ _________________ | House wrote: | | Religion isn't the opium of the masses, it's the placebo. |

| Lol, I thought the same thing about the Helmingas and Thyrdan's axes...they look rather small, quite the opposite of what we normally see...good job GW Aye, the Fellbeast looks really good too...I think I'll pick up at least 1 for my various armies |

| I'm actually worried that Thyrdan's axe blades may be too small, although it could just be the angle it's at, and it'd be easy enough to swap with a normal armourd Dunlending's axe if it is. _________________ | House wrote: | | Religion isn't the opium of the masses, it's the placebo. |

| Emomer is meh and i think Grimbold looks a little too "normal captain" which is funny as i thoguth the Captain of Gondor looked a little too name hero like. The grimbold command look ok and Saruman tho good to have the modal does look kind of like he is high on canabis.
However Thrydan and the Fellbest look awsume!!! they realy are fantastic. I'm so getting Thrydan but maybe not the fellbeast but only becuase i have a metal one plus the witchking on 1 too. _________________ Visit me on Youtube Here Never take life seriously. | The only model I don't like here is Saruman, the rest are amazing, especially for GW LOTR releases as of recent.
The fellbeast is fantastic, much better than the original! _________________ Regards, Jake. |

| got to agree there. I just hope that you can convert the fellbeast somewhat atleast so you have 2 diffrent tails, heads etc as well as optinal breat plates and helmets for it to make it a armoured or horned fellbeast. _________________ Visit me on Youtube Here Never take life seriously. I was about to say that...
Anyway - I think the bulk of them look rather good. Tne Rohan releases all look pretty good - Saruman's a bit iffy - but the Fell Beast is much better than I expected it to be.
BTW - who is Thrydan? Is he meant to be a Dunleding?_________________ "Ignorance breeds monsters to fill up the vacancies of the soul that are unoccupied by the verities of knowledge"p.s - My avatar is a piece done by a friend of mine - you can find her deviantART page here |

| Thyrdan is the Dunlanding "uber-hero", so he should be a powerful SBG figure.
What gets me is that we now have a Dunlanding hero on horseback, but GW neglected to release their Dunlending cavalry, which would have been perfect to go along with this release.
Nor did they release the Helmingas soldiers, which we're supposed to be getting new profiles for. Wouldn't it be smarter to release all the Rohan/Isengard stuff at once, rather than leave two troop types and two Heroes (Doerwine and Elfhelm) for a later release? |
