| Check out your local library...I'd be rather surprised if they didn't have a copy (mine's got quite a few). |

| Hey guys, Saw this and thought it sounded really cool! I probably don't have time to contribute a whole lot to the supplement, but I have written up houserules for Turin and Beleg a while back, so I thought I'd go ahead and post a link to them here. Obviously, no pressure to use my ideas, and if you do want to use any of them feel free to make whatever changes you'd like, just thought I'd toss in my 0.02! I have a conversion of Beleg that is done (just needs to be painted), and I have ideas for Turin, although I haven't put anything into motion just yet. http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=18411(sorry, they're burried in that first post somehwere. just hit ctrl+F and type in "Turin" and you'll find 'em). |

| We haven't really been working on this all too much recently due to all being quite busy. However I myself have a lot more free time on my hands so am able to resume my work with the supplement. Though I'm not sure about everyone else.
But thanks for that and if you want to get into the project let me know and I'll add you to the group and give you access to the forum. We could use some new blood to the project as it died quite a while ago really.
Thanks. _________________ Regards, Jake. |

Hurin was a chieftain of the Edain, and along with his brother Huor was one of only three Men (the third was Huor's son Tuor) to go to the hidden Elven city of Gondolin. After returning from Gondolin, Hurin and Huor became lords of Dor-Lomin and went off to fight one of the numourous epic battles of the First Age (can't remember which one off hand - think it was The Battle of Unnumbered Tears) where Huor fell and hurin was captured and taken by Morgoth. He was held in captivity and cursed by Morgoth as were his children. _________________ | House wrote: | | Religion isn't the opium of the masses, it's the placebo. |

| Dinadan summed it up pretty well - the story (Children of Hurin) primarily follows Hurin's son, Turin, through various stages of his life, all the while being under Morgoth's curse. It's a great read, and pretty short. Definitely worthwhile if you enjoyed The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
As for the project - I'd love to give a hand here and there but really don't have time to be a major contributor. I write a lot of house profiles, though, so I could help out in that department, and I could try my hand at some artwork (I used to do more drawing than I do now, so I'm not sure how well that would work out). Background/filler text is also something I could potentially work on, whether you need new material written or just proofreading for some of the existing stuff. So in short, sure! Add me to the group, and I'll see what I can bring to the table. |

| I'll add you to the group next chance I get and you're free to help write some profiles. Proofreading would be handy also however that'll be towards the end of the project. _________________ Regards, Jake. |
