The Nids are coming!!!
This month see the Nids invade as WD have gone Nid mad. So here is this months review of WD 361.

New Releases
40k
This is very much a 40k month with new Tyranids Codex but thats not all. The now have the new Trygon/Mawloc kit that massive and i think is possibly taller than a Mumak!!!! We also have the new Ravener Brood in plastic whihc is very helpful anlong with Plastic Gargoyles which is a god sent as they have to be quite large groups to start with. We also have new metal Pyrovore, Venomthrope and a new Hive Guard. Ofcourse there is the new Battle force whihc contains 3 Warriors, 8 Genestealers, 12 Termagants and 12 Hormagaunts. It also says that you get 3 Ripper swarms but this are not pictured in the box so i am unsure about them being in the box or a limted time offer.
Now all Nids tho as we have the ne "Legion of the Dammed" modals whihc are fantastic and very powerful (Rules for them are actually given in the mag it's self + the Marien Codex)

Other
Forge world have the new "Imperial armour Vol7-part3" out whist Black Libary give us 3 new books. "Dark Creed", "Shadow King" and "Sons of Dorn".

Reviews
40k
Ofcourse they take a good look at the new nids as well as the Legion in this issue but we also have a battle report involing both of them and it looks really good. We also have a painting guide for the Legions and soem modaling tips for the new Nids.

Fantasy
They take another look at the scaven and give you a top 13 tactics involing them. They aslo feature some very nice conversions of some of the Rat men includinga "Brood Mother".

LOTR
The thralles of Mordor apper and they give to some tip for using your Fallen Realms men. And for once they are talking aobu the SBG!!! (I think gw might have finally woken up and realised it's a good game).

Other
They show you how they built and painted "Outpost XIII" for there battle report.

Next month.
40k haven't got much but they will have a Planet stike tactica and Nid datsheets. Fantasy will showcase the new beastmen and the most import thing is "NEW PLASTIC FELLBEAST!!!!"

Well that the review done this month. Have a happy Christmas, Hanaka etc and i'll see you all next year for the next review. (Now i'm not goign anywhere before you ask)

Alas no. We may have to wait until after Christmas for them.

Can't wait for pictures of the new Beastmen or the Fellbeast. Though I've got a strong feeling the fell beast won't look anything like the current ones.

knowing GW i woudl expect so. I am inteasted tho (EWvent ho i ahve the Witchkign and a normal Nazgul on Fellbeast all ready)

Ooooo....Really looking forward toseeing some pics of the Fellbeast. Almost inevitably it'll be a step-down in quality but might make buying them a bit more practical. The new models might even give LOTR a bit of attention for a month....if only....

Agreed, since I can have all 9 Nazgul on fellbeasts in a WotR army, I'd rather spend $315 on them than $540.

Might make conversions trickier though seeing as all the Ringwraiths are metal - never really fancied plastic-metal. And will they come with plasic Ringwriaths?

I suspect they will come with 1 plastic Ringwraith rider, yes, and maybe some conversion bits to make the named Wraiths as well, however I'd rather they not do that since it'd make the kit even more expensive
