MEP Nigel Farage fined over 'insulting' tirade

I was outraged at this guy when i saw this so i wanted your opions.

For thoese who don't know are live outside the uk/ireland then he is the leader of a plotical party called "Ukip" that as far as i can tell is opposed to the uk being part of the EU. Now i never supported them and often found my self gettign angry at them during the election last year.(That and the BNP but thats another story)
I'm also a big supporter of free speech(I'm an Athist so i have to deel with a little more than most people too) but from the information that i know that was NOT free speech and was just verbally bashing someone. He does have a good point(Tho i hade to agree wioth him) but the way he went about it was totaly stupid and unrespecful.

Lol - saw this on the news the other day, almost made me laugh. I've never really liked the guy or what he stands for but this just took the biscuit. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for saying what you mean and getting an important point across without worrying about treading on someone's toes but tdoes not mean, by any means, that you can simply have a blatant disreguard for other people. A man in his position should be aware of this. It doesn't matter if he 'had a point' or not (a personally I think don't think he reallly did), his remarks were just antagonistic, infalmatory and irresponsible and I;m glad he's being held accountable for them.
